I am needing to relocate from Las Vegas, NV to the Spartanburg - Greenville - Laurens, SC area due to family reasons.
Most important factor for me is relocating to the Spartanburg - Greenville - Laurens, SC area, seniority and pay are not as big of factor to me at this point.
Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) with 20 years experience in the industry and a 16 year Navy veteran.
Graduate of the DoD Biomedical Equipment School, Basic and Advanced, NEC 8478
Sitting for the Certified Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM) exam on 4Nov2019.
My experiences include in-house and ISO HTM, as well as, OEM FSE in large Level 1 Trauma Center to smaller Post Acute Care facilities to University Research and everything in between, even the monster floating hospital ship USNS Mercy out of San Diego, CA.
OEM service with Leica Biosystems, servicing and maintaining their line of pathology lab automation equipment. For example: Tissue Processors, Cryostats, Tissue Embedding stations, Microtomes, Cassette and Slide printers and robotic Coverslippers.
Multivendor ventilator service and maintenance. Philips V200 and V60. Maquet Servo i, GE Enstrom Carestation and Carefusion Avea ventilators.
Including some experience with Carefusion High Frequency Oscillatory ventilators, not officially trained on these units, unofficially trained by a Carefusion trained individual.
ASP 100S, 100NX and NX
GE AMX4 mobile xray unit
Some experience servicing Philips BV Pulsera C-Arm, although not officially trained on this unit (Battery Module replacement and testing operation etc...)
I am a very customer satisfaction and customer relationship oriented professional. I truly am passionate about the HTM field, promoting patient and staff safety and doing my part to keep healthcare costs as low as possible.
