Job Summary/Purpose: Perform technical and administrative duties in support of radiation imaging equipment of medium to high complexity, like stationary or portable Radiographic and Fluoroscopic X ray units. May perform certain routine and first response task in service of CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional and higher complexity equipment. Duties include service and maintenance, management of related resources, instruction of operators, equipment installations. Occasional off shift will be required to perform job duties.
Minimum Training and Education: Associate's degree or equivalent military training in the area of Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Computing or Imaging or Nuclear technology. Minimum 3 years of experience in field service of diagnostic imaging equipment. Vendor service training, other certified training and demonstrated acquired skills necessary to perform stationary or portable Radiographic, Fluoroscopic X ray units or Ultrasound. Strong communication skills oral and in writing. Ability to work under stress. Ability to deal with difficult customers. Must have valid SC driver’s license and be able to support offsite locations. Certification in X-Ray fundamentals and/or certification in two Imaging Systems from Siemens or equivalent vendor training.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Must have valid driving license and be able to support offsite locations. Certification in at least two CT, MRI, or Angio systems.

Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance.
